ARTIST STATEMENT
As a way to conceptualize my artwork, I define my art as a combination of psychological, physical, and spiritual experiences. Steeming from my expressions of feelings, dreams, attitudes, as well as perspectives from my own life, the figures then develop a unique history.
By experimenting with the human figure, I create disproportionate appearances with deep expressions, textured marks, and movement that suggest a womanʼs sensibility throughout oneʼs life.
I am adding to my exploration the Ying-Yang balance, transforming my art as a symbol of creating feminine art that inspires this balance through a womanʼs beauty. Peace and nurturing shall be what I strive to encourage the world through these work of art.
